WHAT'S IN A
INTRO TO BOULDERING    TECHNIQUE CLASS

Our 4 week class is designed to build a solid foundation and elevate your bouldering skills through a mix of theory, drills, and hands-on practice. Here’s what each week covers:

  • Week 1: Body Positioning & Twisting Technique - Learn the structure of a training session to maximise progress. We start by going through how to efficiently keep your body on the wall.

  • Week 2: Drop Knee Technique - Focus on static movements—learn how to execute precise drop knee techniques to find the best positions and maintain balance while climbing.

  • Week 3: Smearing & Hook Techniques - Dive into specialized footwork with smearing, toe hook, and heel hook techniques to enhance your grip and movement on the wall and help you navigate challenging holds more effectively.

  • Week 4: Dynamic Movement & Dyno Technique - Explore dynamic movement techniques, emphasising timing, body positioning, and adjusting to different environments. Finish with an assessment to measure your progress.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Min. 3 participants to start class. If class does not meet the minimum requirement, full refund will be available. This class is meant to serve as an introduction to basic bouldering techniques suitable for climbers who are just starting out and looking to expand their repertoire of bouldering techniques Payment: Full payment is required upon enrollment. Non-refundable: The enrollment fee is non-refundable. Non-transferable: Enrollment is non-transferable to other classes or participants. No Make-up Class: There will be no make-up classes for any missed sessions.
