What Do I Need To Start Bouldering?


All participants will be required to wear climbing shoes to boulder in our gym. Climbing shoes are designed specifically for climbing and to:

  • Maintain the hygiene of the facility.
  • Give maximum friction and support on footholds (things you step on).
Climbing shoes are available for rental in a wide variety of sizes. For hygiene reasons, you would need to wear a pair of socks with our rental climbing shoes. We encourage all climbers to bring their own socks, but they also available for purchase at $2/pair. Climbers using their own chalk must have it contained within a chalkball, and carried inside a chalk bag. We strongly encourage the use of liquid chalk to keep the air clean for all users.




What Are The Equipment & Amenities At Boulder Planet?


Boulder Planet provides -

  • Shower rooms and Toilets
  • Changing rooms, Lockers and Hair Dryers
  • Work area with Free WiFi
  • Camera Tripods for capturing your sends
  • Basic First Aid materials
Around the walls, you will find climbing brushes that you can use to clean off chalks on holds. We also have hangboards and pull-up bars in the gym to supplement your climbing training. (Coming soon)





Bookings & Passes

Sharing of Passes


You can share your Entry Passes with up to 4 other climbers by linking their Mindbody accounts to yours. Sharing will allow all linked accounts to make bookings using your passes. All linked accounts will remain connected until the Primary account holder requests for removal. If you would like to share your passes, please ensure that they have downloaded our BP app and completed their accounts before contacting us via our Business Whatsapp.




How Do I Make A Booking?


Bookings will open three days before each session. Step 1: Select the correct date on the calendar, then click “Book” on your desired climbing session. Step 2: Log in to an existing Mindbody account if you already have one. Alternatively, click “Create Profile”.​ Step 3: Buy your Membership/Passes if you do not have any yet. Step 4: Complete your booking.




What Are Your Booking / Cancellation Policies


Cancellation of bookings must be made 6 hours before start of booked session. Any cancellations made with less than 6 hours notice will incur a deduction of Entry Passes.

What Is The Validity Period Of My 5x / 10x Entry Passes


The validity period for both 5x & 10x Entry Passes is six months from the date of purchase. The validity of Multi-Passes and Annual Passes bought during pre-sales will only commence from the first visit. Please note that there are no refunds for 5x / 10x Entry Passes purchases, and the extension of Entry Passes is only allowed on a case-by-case basis. If the gym is unable to operate due to government restrictions, all passes willl be extended by the same number of days closed. Please write to info@boulderplanet.sg to find out more.




When Am I Able To Use My Youth Pass


Youth Passes are only applicable to 18 years old and below. You may only use your Youth Pass on selected timeslots: Weekdays 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM 01:15 PM - 03:15 PM 03:30 PM - 05:30 PM Please note that Youth Passes are not applicable on weekends & Public Holidays.

What Are Your Opening Hours?


Our opening hours are: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Please note that due to COVID-19 regulations, all climbers must climb in specific timeslots, in which there is a maximum capacity of 50 climbers per slot. Therefore, climbers are not allowed to make a repeated booking within a single day. The timeslots are as follow: Weekday:

  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 01:15 PM - 03:15 PM
  • 03:30 PM - 05:30 PM
  • 05:45 PM - 07:45 PM
  • 08:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Weekend:
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

All climbers must make a booking before arriving at the gym to avoid any disappointments.




How Often Do You Reset Routes?


Our walls have six sections: the Competition Wall, two Climbing Islands, the Beginner Wall, the Kids Wall and the Main Wall. Our route setting takes place every Tuesday & Thursday, from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Each set will cover one section.




Do You Allow Kids To Climb?


Yes, children are allowed to climb provided that they are at least one metre tall and their parent/guardian is accompanying them at all times. All gym patrons, regardless of age, are required to pay for their entry.

Do I Need To Wear My Mask At All Times?


Yes, masks should be worn at all times, even when you are on the wall.




What Are Your Safety Management Measures?


In order to allow everyone to enjoy climbing safely, we have imposed a number of measures:

  • Limit the maximum number of visitors at any one time to 50.
  • Maintain at least 1m distance between visitors when resting and at least 2m distance between visitors when exercising.
  • Ensure no group or class bigger than 5 pax.
  • Masks to be worn at all times.

BP Subscription

Usage


  • The BP Subscription entitles you to 8 Entries to Boulder Planet each month.
  • Unused Entries do not roll over to the next month.




Perks


  • Should you finish your 8 Entries before your subscription renews for the next month, you can purchase a Single Entry Pass at a 50% Discount. When you buy the Single Entry Pass on the BP App, the discount is applied automatically.




Billing


  • Your BP Subscription is activated on the Date of Purchase. The initial charge would be the Initiation Fee + the first month’s subscription fee.
  • Billing will be month-to-month, recurring on the Date of Purchase. For example, if you start your subscription on the 10th of January, your next billing date is on the 10th of February, and so on.




Freezing


  • You can freeze your BP Subscription for a maximum of 3 consecutive months. A fee of $10/month will be incurred.
  • You would need to submit a request to our email at: INFO@BOULDERPLANET.SG if you want to freeze your BP Subscription. Requests submitted through other channels (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, etc.) will not be valid.




Restrictions


  • This BP Subscription is non-shareable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Once you are billed for the month, no returns will be provided upon cancellation.
  • Your account with the BP Subscription cannot have other climbers linked to it unless you already have 5x or 10x Entry Passes in your account before signing up for a BP Subscription.
  • If you would like to get a BP Subscription and also still purchase 10x or 5x Entry Passes to share with your friends, you can create another BP Account using a different email address from the one with your BP Subscription.




Cancellation


  • You can terminate your BP Subscription by submitting a request to our email at: INFO@BOULDERPLANET.SG. Requests submitted through other channels (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, etc.) will not be valid.
  • Once you’ve cancelled your BP Subscription, should you want to sign up for it again in the future, the Initiation Fee will be payable.
