It's the school holidays, hooray!

Are you looking for something your child can do during their school holidays? Get your child on board with us here at Boulder Planet. Our kids' boot camp is dedicated to providing young children with an enriching programme, educating them on the concept of going green, which is our core value and ethos here at Boulder Planet. Of course, this will be done through climbing with fun and games! At the same time, climbing builds confidence, enhances problem-solving skills and develops strength and motor skills.
Kids of all climbing competencies and climbing experiences are welcomed!

You Asked, We Answered

Do you have a trial class before my child gets enrolled in the bootcamp?

We do not have any trial classes at the moment. However, if you wish to ascertain your child's interest in climbing, you can consider joining our Lift Off! class first.

What are your Covid SMM?

Our full and detailed Covid SMM can be found on our main FAQ page here.

Are there any age restrictions?

The minimum age is 6 years old, and the maximum age is 12 years old as of the current year.

How do I confirm that my child's enrollment is successful?

You will receive a receipt of your payment (via email). We will also send you another email within one working day for further instructions regarding your child's enrollment.

If my child can't make it for the boot camp my child has been enrolled in, is there a make up class?

Makeup class is subject to availability on a case-to-case basis.

What happens if my child has an accident during class?

As for any activities, there is some level of risk in climbing. It is part of our syllabus to teach how the kids/youth can mitigate these risks. Our coaches are licensed first-aiders that will provide immediate assistance in the event of an accident. Your child’s safety is our number one priority.

What will be covered?

Climbing Games

Let’s put aside seriousness and allow the kids to learn through fun and games! Kids can expect traditional games they play in school or at home to be incorporated into climbing.

Climbing Etiquette

Just like any other sport, safety, mutual respect, and good practices embody the spirit of sportsmanship and sporting excellence. Our dedicated coaches will lead by example and ensure that your child possesses the knowledge and skills to boulder safely at any bouldering facility, climb sensibly and be a good member of the climbing community, cultured and practising etiquette.

Basic Climbing Techniques

Picking up a new sport can be easy. With proper guidance, your child will be exposed to the art of climbing, body movements and basic climbing techniques - just enough to get your child climbing to the top of the wall. Every child’s body moves differently. This will allow your child to discover their bodily movements and even physical attributes.

Concepts & Lessons Learnt

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle: These concepts will be incorporated into the climbing games and activities prepared for your child. By acquiring the knowledge of the ideas, we hope to cultivate the practice of going green from a young age through games and activities. Your child will then understand how a change to daily routines and actions, no matter how small or big, can positively impact environmental change.
